Does your indecisiveness stop you or make you do better?
That's a question that I have been struggling with for a while. I do not look at being indecisive as a crutch but as an expectation for better. It can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at the situation.
In this case, I will take it as a good thing. I was recommended a dope graphic artist to design my logo for JNicole Events. I am really excited to start working with him because I believe that he will be able to capture my ideas into one image. I provided him with this idea...
"my overall concept of my brand is simple but classy. I'm thinking of having a calligraphy pen spell out JNicole Events in cursive (lavender font color) with a diamond at the end of the pen or somewhere near it. My color scheme is lavender and light cream."
Based off of that description, I received four logo designs today and only one stood out from the rest. I realized that after reading my description for Marc, my design did not pop the way it could because of what I stated. Marc was extremely receptive to my feedback and we were able to hop on the phone to get a better idea of what I'm looking for in this design. He is going back to the drawing table to provide more designs until we agree on the finalized product.
I'm truly thankful to have a graphic artist that's willing to get it right for me and not rush this process-it's not simple. You don't receive that type of help and understanding every day but when you do, make sure you appreciate that person/moment.
JNicole Events logo coming to you soon!!
Today's Assertion: I'm okay with not knowing but I will trust the process
