What are you afraid of?

I tend to question my capabilities and purpose, like every other human. However, at this point I have understood that it's not too smart to interfere with God plans. Remember, he's the REAL OG! Like the old saints once said, "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans".

These post will not be grammatically correct nor of interest to you but it will detail my journey into the event planning business so that others may be inspired to follow their own dreams. This site will be full of blessings, struggles (that's real) and aspirations. We cannot just show the fruits of our labor without being real about the steps it took to get there.

Every Sunday I wake up and immediately put on my gospel playlist to start giving my God the praise in hopes that this feeling will not leave me. However, today was a bit different as the sunset because all I heard was " It seems like blessings keep falling in my lap, It seems like blessings keep falling in my lap." If you don't know, this is a song called "Blessings" by Chance the Rapper. Chance may not be understood to some but he is getting others to recognize him for who he is and no one else. Don't we all need to have that confidence? I thank God that we (black millennials) have artists who are not just finding a dope beat (don't get me wrong, I love the trap) but having music that speaks to your life and keeps you going.

We may not know what's next which can be scary but be thankful that God continues to allows blessings to fall into your lap. I thank God for giving me the courage to write this today and hope that you all will continue to enjoy following this journey.

Today's Assertion: If you don't show the confidence, who will? .... Oooo, that's what I thought. Keep pushing!
